The deck has been recored using BRUYNZEEL HECHTHOUT OKOUME/GABOON ply that has a 20 year warrantee.

The entire deck was then glassed over, filled and faired.

Areas where there are cleats were done in solid fiberglass laminate only, no core.

She is now completely sound. A core sample is available for inspection.

The deck layout is as follows:

A) The pulpit is of stainless with a teak grate, two bronze anchor rollers , bobstay and forestay.

B) 6 bronze cleats, the forward and midship ones incorporating eye fairleads. The aft cleats are solid stainless with open fairleads.

C) The foredeck is spacious, not being cluttered by a coach roof; good working space.

D) The coach roof has a teak inlay 5/8 ths thick that is epoxied in place. There is plenty of space to work the mast and main boom. Heavy stainless sissy bars ensure a safe working environment in a heavy sea.

E) Centre cockpit self draining with 2 inch sea cocks in the engine room.

F) Poopdeck, big…useful as a swim platform/sundeck/terrace or a large working area.

G) Large solid s/s stanchion and stanchion bases with twin safety lines. Dock access openings are amidships port and starboard.
