Having started in the aircraft industry as an apprentice engineer
in the mid seventies, the progression to sailboats was natural.
Arriving in the Caribbean in 1981 for the first time, I was hooked
on the beauty and the lifestyle. It took me more than 10 years back
home to afford and rebuild my first yacht, which, after having sailed
across from Africa in the early nineties, has been our permanent
home. After chartering and being involved in almost all the aspects
of the marine industry for over fourty years, we now have a
family and don't do charters anymore.... we still have the boat though!
The progression from captaining charter boats through project managing
refits once we had a family and then running a charter base followed
in quick succession. Buying and selling boats for our own account
followed and then putting together willing buyers and sellers in
a formal brokerage environment were the next logical steps. The
brokerage has grown over the last two decades through dedicated attention
to detail and enthusiastic referrals from our many happy clients...
